can i get a copy of my medical records or prescription?

The short answer is yes, you can request a copy of your medical records or prescription at any time. We recommend that you share any updates to your medical history, including any new medications, with your primary care provider.

To get started, please let us know via our secure messaging portal in your Hims or Hers account! See our article "how can i message my healthcare provider?" for more information on how to access the messaging portal.

Important Notes:

  • Our telemedicine platform at this time does not permit medial providers to complete, edit, or send any kind of forms, including paperwork for disability, work, or school. An alternative is to request this paperwork from your primary care provider instead.
  • We do not provide a physical copy of your prescription. We can send you a screenshot of any prescription you've received through the Hims & Hers platform, but this screenshot cannot be used to receive fills at a pharmacy.
  • If you would like to transfer your prescription to a different pharmacy, please see the article "how can i transfer my prescription?"

That's it!
