Using Your Prescription
Latisse® (Bimatoprost for Eyelashes) is used to help the growth of eyelashes, sometimes called hypertrichosis.
Latisse® (Bimatoprost for Eyelashes) is used nightly as directed by your prescriber. To use appropriately, first clean the face. If applicable, remove makeup and contact lenses prior to use. The recommended amount of Latisse®(Bimatoprost for Eyelashes) ophthalmic solution is one dropplaced onto the supplied disposable sterile applicator. Apply evenly along the skin of the upper eyelid margin at the base of the eyelashes. Blot off any excess outside of the eyelid margin. Repeat to the opposite eyelid with a new sterile applicator.
Do not reuse applicators or use any other tools to apply the medication other than the single use sterile applicators provided with your prescription. Do not apply to the lower eyelash line. More applications will not increase eyelash growth.
Contact lenses may be reinserted 15 minutes after administration. Do not rinse the eye if any solution gets into the eye, that is okay and will not cause any harm.
If you miss a dose, take a dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, wait until then and take a regular dose. Do not take extra medicine to make up for the missed dose. It may take months to see the full benefits of this medication. Check your prescription label for the correct dose prescribed by your medical provider.
Precautions
Do not use it if you have had an allergic reaction to Latisse® (Bimatoprost for Eyelashes). Be sure to tell your
